Have you been going all-out for FarmVille’s 2nd Birthday? If you have, you’ll be happy to hear this news…
There’s a new contest in town and this time it’s a FARM DECORATING CONTEST!
This decorating contest will be open until June 20th and the prize for the best and most creative farm is 500 FARM CASH & 500,000 COINS! That is a very nice prize. All entries must be posted to the Official Forum Thread.
Here are the details:
The FarmVille team will be selecting their top 10 favorite Birthday Themed Farms on the 20th of June.
Submissions of partially decorated farms will be accepted for this event, but farms that are completely decorated are preferred.
If you choose to submit an entry of a partially decorated farm, your image does not need to show your entire farm.
No photoshopped (or edited) images are allowed.
No flaming or insulting pictures that other players have posted.
Posting will end at 6 pm PDT on June 20th.
They will announce the top 10 winners on June 21st.
Make sure you are creative! The FarmVille team will be judging the pictures based off of originality, effort and presentation.
And here are the Rules:
Please refrain from creating images on your farm that are Copyrighted.
If you choose to depict a copyrighted image, you will not be selected as one of our winners.
Please keep your entries Rated G! We cannot publicly display graphic or inappropriate content on our Fan Page, so if you wish to be a winner, keep it clean!
No inappropriate content is allowed in the photos. (The forum rules still apply)
The picture must be original. No going and getting an image off of the internet.
Your entry must be an image of your Farm. No posting images of your friends or neighbors farms.
If you are selected as one of our winners, you must provide us with your Facebook User ID. These user ID’s can be sent to Lexilicious via Forum PM. (Please do not send your User ID number to me unless you are selected as a winner!)
Do NOT post your Facebook User ID on the forums. Entries that are sent to any members of the FarmVille team via PM or email will not be considered valid.
No spamming of the thread is allowed. This includes any content that is not relevant to the Decorating Contest.
One entry per person. Choose wisely! (This means that creating an additional forum account to post multiple entries is NOT allowed.)

Day 4 Reward: Bluebird
Today is the fourth day of the FarmVille Birthday Countdown! Today’s reward is the Bluebird.
It is very simple to get these rewards. Simply open the Countdown window in FarmVille, press the ask/share button, and publish it to your profile. When your friends click on the post both of you will receive the reward.
If you missed out on getting yesterday’s reward or any other days of rewards, you can ask specific friends to send you the item.
Remember, if you want to get the ultimate reward of the Blue Mane Gypsy Horse, you’ll need to collect all 12 days of rewards.

Zynga seems to be on a roll with all these “floating” items they have been introducing. Since the floating Chrome Cow we have seen a lot of new floating things in the game and there are more coming! Three new items will be making their way to FarmVille very soon.
These items include a Floating House, a Floating Gnome, and a Floating Sheep! All of these items are held up in the air by balloons, in honor of FarmVille’s birthday (officially June 19th).
These items will most likely cost farm cash and be introduced into the FarmVille market.

Last year for FarmVille’s birthday we saw animal balloons, but nothing like this one:
This unreleased Balloon Animal Decoration features some of our favorite animals in FarmVille – sheeps, ducks, cows, and pigs. Since this is still an unreleased item, release dates and prices are not yet known. It will mostly be made available for purchase in the market for farm cash.

Yes, there are even more Lady Gaga themed items in the market today. There are 4 new decorations all with crystalline features and the standard blue/pink/purple Gaga colors.
The new decorations in the market are:
Crystal Waterfall – 15 FC
Crystal Palm Tree* – 3 FC
Crystal Mushroom – 10,000 Coins
Gem Topiary – 5,000 Coins
*The Crystal Palm Tree is a decorative tree and cannot be harvested.
The new vehicle in the market is:

This combine possesses all the features of your standard combine – the ability to plow, harvest, and seed all at one time. Farmville Muddy Pig Decoration
This cute unreleased pig is going to be coming to Farmville soon. Sadly, it will not be considered an “animal”, but rather a “decoration”. Release dates and prices are currently unknown, but it will be arriving soon. And who wouldn’t want this cute little muddy pig outside their pig pen? It will remind us of our pigs’ truffle-hunting glory days.
