Neighbor Ribbons
Farmville is a very neighbor-focused game. Ribbons are a big part of the game and many of them require neighbors to achieve. When you have more neighbors, some of these ribbons become easier to accomplish.
Here, we’ll discuss these ribbons and explain how to complete each one more quickly and easily.

Local Celebrity Ribbon
Achieved by befriending neighbors.
For this ribbon, you must obtain neighbors in Farmville. If you don’t have enough neighbors you can find some great, loyal ones in our Neighbor Adding Forum. Even if you have enough neighbors for this ribbon, this is a great place to meet new people and make friends.
You can also send a Farmville request to a Facebook friend, and if they start to play Farmville you can become their neighbors.
Ribbon Breakdown
Yellow – 4 neighbors – 1,000 coin reward + 10 XP
White – 8 neighbors – 2,500 coin reward + 20 XP
Red – 25 neighbors – 5,000 coin reward + 50 XP
Blue – 50 neighbors – 10,000 coin reward + 100 XP

Good Samaritan Ribbon
Help friends by visiting their farms.
To earn this ribbon, you need to help your neighbors’ farms. You must use all 5 of your daily actions by fertilizing their crops, unwithering, plowing, harvesting animals, etc. While there, after you help by one of the ways above, you can feed your neighbors chickens and help other buildings. You can also send a gift.
If you only feed chickens and help with other buildings (and don’t use any or all of the daily actions) your help for that visit will not be credited toward this ribbon.
Ribbon Breakdown
Yellow – 20 helping visits – 1,000 coin reward + 25 XP
White – 150 helping visits – 2,500 coin reward + 50 XP
Red – 500 helping visits – 5,000 coin reward + 100 XP
Blue – 2,500 helping visits – 10,000 coin reward + 250 XP

Not Spoiled, Gifted! Ribbon
Have a certain number of unique gifts in your giftbox at one time.
With so many gifts available these days and the giftbox limit being so high, this is quite an easy ribbon to achieve.
You must have a certain amount of gifts in your inbox. All items must be different. For example, 10 owl statues, 5 mystery gifts, and 3 horses are only considered 3 items because each one has multiples of the same item. Multiples only count once.
To make this ribbon very easy, you can do a couple of things. For one, you can ask your friends to send you different gifts. You can also claim items off the newsfeed. The more different items you get, the quicker you will be on your way to receiving the blue ribbon.
The number of gifts in the “Ribbon Breakdown” are the total number that you must have in your giftbox at one time. If you take a unique gift out of your giftbox, you will have to get another one if you haven’t received the ribbon yet.
You can find the number of gifts you have at the top of the “Gift Box” icon in the lower right corner of your farm. Some gifts don’t count toward the Ribbon. These are:
o Special Deliveries
o Collection Items
o Fertilize All
o Bricks, Nails, and Boards
o Mystery Gifts
o Consumables
The items should be something material that can be placed on your farm.
Ribbon Breakdown
Yellow – 3 Gifts – 1,000 coin reward + 10 XP + Haybale
White – 9 Gifts – 2,500 coin reward + 20 XP + Barrel
Red – 15 Gifts – 5,000 coin reward + 50 XP + Crate
Blue – 21 Gifts – 10,000 coin reward + 100 XP + Wood Pile

Animal Shelter Ribbon
Adopt ‘Lost Animals’ when your friends post them to the newsfeed.
When your friend receives a notice that they have found a ‘Lost Animal’ in Farmville, they have the option of helping it and posting to the newsfeed or ignoring it. If they share it to their newsfeed, you can adopt it if you are quick enough. This ribbon is pretty easy to get if you adopt every lost animal you see until you reach the blue ribbon, which is only 15.
You can help the following ‘lost animals’ to be credited for this ribbon:
• Ugly Duckling
• Bull
• Wandering Stallion
• Gray Horse
• Llama
• Black Pony
• Queen Bee
• White Tailed Buck
• Himalayan Cat
• Belted Duck
*Note: These lost animals have been retired: Cow, Brown Cow, Pink Cow, Referee Cow, Groovy Cow, Turtle, Pregnant Sow, Black Sheep, Mouflon Sheep, Boer Goat, Black Cat, White Kitty, Clumsy Reindeer, Penguin, Wild Turkey, Wild Mustang, Party Duck
Ribbon Breakdown

Crop Whisperer Ribbon
Fertilize your neighbors’ crops.
To do this, go to your neighbor bar below your farm. Click on one of your neighbor’s pictures and select ‘visit/help’ to go to your neighbor’s farm. Use all of your 5 daily actions for fertilizing their crops.
*Note: This ribbon interconnects with the ‘Good Samaritan’ ribbon in which you visit and help your neighbors’ farms. If you use your 5 daily actions to only fertilize crops, you will receive credits for both ribbons. However, if your neighbor has used a ‘fertilize all’ or they have no plots that can be fertilized, try to harvest or help something else so you can at least receive credit for the ‘Good Samaritan’ award.
Ribbon Breakdown
Yellow – 100 neighbor crops – 1,000 coin reward + 25 XP
White – 250 neighbor crops – 2,500 coin reward + 50 XP
Red – 500 neighbor crops – 5,000 coin reward + 100 XP
Blue – 2,500 neighbor crops – 10,000 coin reward + 200 XP

Employee of the Month Ribbon
Complete co-op jobs with a Gold Medal as a helper (hence the word ‘Employee’).
You will need to complete many co-ops to earn this ribbon. One of your neighbors must have started this co-op and you must have joined it. If you want to have a better shot at Always Gold, visit our co-op farming forum to meet others like you that are interested in co-ops. Co-ops can be planned here and you can get new neighbors and friends that will help you in attaining your goals.
More people actively involved in a co-op will allow you to complete it faster. And the faster you complete it, the more chance you have of getting a gold medal. Also, the less time it takes you to complete this one means you will be able to start a new one faster and get more gold medals.
However, if there are a lot of farmers on a co-op, but only one or two farmers actively farming, it will take more time to get your medal. And it’s not even a sure thing that you would get the gold ribbon.
Remember to communicate with your neighbors. If you don’t have good communication with the other players in the co-op, there will probably be a time in your when two or more people plant too much of the same thing and you miss out getting the gold ribbon. This can happen, but doesn’t need to. So, communicate!
*Note: Keep in mid that you can kill two birds with one stone by choosing a co-op with crops that you haven’t fully mastered. You’ll gain credit for this co-op ribbon and you’ll get mastery points.
Ribbon Breakdown
Yellow – 5 Co-ops – 1,000 coin reward + 50 XP
White – 25 Co-ops – 2,500 coin reward + 100 XP
Red – 50 Co-ops – 5,000 coin reward + 250 XP
Blue – 100 Co-ops – 10,000 coin reward + 1000 XP

Fabulous Foreman Ribbon
Complete co-ops as the starter.
This ribbon requires that you start co-ops and complete them as gold. If you can get more of your neighbors to help you with your co-op, you can earn the gold medal quicker. You must earn the gold medal and start the co-op for it to be credited toward this ribbon. And, if you plant and harvest the most out of the players involved, you can also get credited toward the “Best of the Rest” ribbon.
Ribbon Breakdown
Yellow – 1 Co-op – 1,000 coin reward + 50 XP
White – 5 Co-ops – 2,500 coin reward + 100 XP
Red – 10 Co-ops – 5,000 coin reward + 250 XP
Blue – 20 Co-ops – 10,000 coin reward + 1000 XP

Best of the Rest Ribbon
Earn the highest percentage of work done in co-ops (Become the MVP).
It doesn’t matter if you started the co-op or are a helper to get this ribbon. What does matter is how dedicated you are to it. You must have planted and harvested more crops than any other members in the co-op. If you do, you’ll be crowned “MVP” and get a credit toward this ribbon.
One way to make sure that you are the MVP is to seed and harvest the bulk of shortest-harvest crops. Think of it like this – you can plant 3 fields of a four hour crop in the same time it takes a 12 hour crop to mature. That’s 3x as many crops you can harvest!
If you are going to be a ‘helper’ in a co-op, do not choose one that is over 50% seeded. You will not be able to get the majority of the work done, so you will not gain credit for this ribbon. However, you may still be able to get other co-op ribbon credit if you get the gold medal.
Another word of advice: Choose a co-op that interests you! There are a number of reasons why you would choose a certain co-op…the reward, the bushels, the time aspect, the crops needing to be grown, etc. Just make sure it is a co-op that you can stay devoted to. For example, if you work throughout the day, you might want to consider a co-op that has longer-harvest crops instead of a co-op full of 4 hour crops. If your neighbors see you aren’t planting the short crops, they will, and they will harvest more than you. So, they will be the ones getting the MVP award. Search through all of the available ongoing co-ops as well as ones that you can start to see which fits you best.
Ribbon Breakdown
Yellow – 1 Co-op – 1,000 coin reward + 50 XP
White – 10 Co-ops – 2,500 coin reward + 100 XP
Red – 20 Co-ops – 5,000 coin reward + 250 XP
Blue – 40 Co-ops – 10,000 coin reward + 1000 XP

Super Salesman Ribbon
Sell goods crafted in your crafting building to your friends.
In order to complete this ribbon, you must have a crafting building. The Winery, Bakery, and Spa are all crafting buildings. When you reach level 25, you will be able to select one of these and place it on your farm.
You must also have a market stall to earn this ribbon. You must collect bushels, either from your friends in the stall, from harvesting your crops, from the newsfeed, or when friends ‘take’ your bushels.
Bushels are used to craft goods in crafting buildings. A recipe will be ready in 6 hours. When you ‘finish’ it, you will receive one good and two goods will be up for sale. When your neighbors buy your goods, you will get paid, and they might share one back with you.
But the most important thing for this ribbon is that they buy your goods.
You can craft up to 24 recipes per day, with 48-96 products for your neighbors.
If you find that you are having trouble getting neighbors to buy your goods, you might want to focus on one recipe. If you can raise it’s level, your friends know they will receive more fuel from the good when they ‘use’ them. Neighbors tend to buy your most expensive good because of the fuel benefits. So a level 50 good will sell better than a level 12 item.
Another way to get more goods sold is by having more neighbors to buy them. 200 neighbors will be buying more than 30 neighbors, for instance.
Ribbon Breakdown
Yellow – 5 Goods – 1,000 coin reward + 50 XP
White – 25 Goods – 2,500 coin reward + 100 XP
Red – 100 Goods – 5,000 coin reward + 250 XP
Blue – 250 Goods – 10,000 coin reward + 1000 XP

Best Buyer Ribbon
Buy crafted goods from your neighbors.
To be able to earn this ribbon, you must purchase crafted goods from your neighbors’ Bakeries, Wineries, and Spas. You can ‘use’ these goods which will give you fuel. The higher the level of the good, the more fuel will be added to your tank. To buy these goods, you must have a crafting building of your own to be able to access the ‘Buy Goods’ window. You have to be level 25 or above to have a crafting building.
Once you have your own crafting building, just go to the ‘Buy Goods’ window. Buy as many goods as you like. You can also thank your neighbor for their hard work by sharing the same good you just purchased with them. Don’t worry, they won’t get the one you just bought. They’ll get their own. When you are buying your goods, take into consideration these factors: how much you want to spend, how much fuel you want, and how much you want to earn this ribbon. Adjust your purchasing accordingly.
Ribbon Breakdown
Yellow – 5 Goods – 1,000 coin reward + 50 XP
White – 25 Goods – 2,500 coin reward + 100 XP
Red – 100 Goods – 5,000 coin reward + 250 XP
Blue – 250 Goods – 10,000 coin reward + 1000 XP
