Farmville is a social game based on the interaction of friends and neighbors. In this game, you will not get far without neighbors because they will help you with most of the aspects of the game. You can’t even expand your farm to plant more crops without having a certain amount of neighbors.
Neighbors will help you build and expand your ‘Buildings with Purpose’, fertilize your crops, tend your animals and trees, purchase your goods and bushels, send you free gifts and so much more.
With more neighbors you will have more opportunities to get necessary bushels to craft your goods. You will also be able to sell more goods and obtain more fuel, coins, or XP when they buy your bushels.
You also need neighbors to acquire many ribbons in farmville.
