Edy’s/Dreyer’s Fruit Bars crops are now in the market and can be planted and harvested! Unfortunately, these crops are only available to residents of the United States. These crops will not show up in the markets of farmers in other countries. If you are from the US and do not see them yet, don’t panic. They are being rolled out slowly and you will see them very soon.
There is one crop, but it has 2 different names depending upon your location in the USA. Farmers east of the Rocky Mountains will be planting and harvesting Edy’s Fruit Bars. Farmers west of the Rockies will be planting and harvesting Dreyer’s Fruit Bars. There are also two different mastery signs – one that says “Edy’s Fruit Bars” and one that says “Dreyer’s Fruit Bars.”
Here are 8 facts about the Fruit Bars crop:
1. They can be bought for 20 coins
2. They sell for 125 coins
3. They yield 2 XP
4. They can be harvested in 12 hours
5. You’ll need to harvest 1000 plots to master the Fruit Bars Crop
6. East of the Rockies=Edy’s Fruit Bars, West of the Rockies=Dreyer’s Fruit Bars
7. They can only be planted by residents of the USA
8. You will have 6 days to plant Fruit Bars

Another ad is giving away free farm cash now. This time it is backed by Rice Crispies. To get this free farm cash, keep on the lookout for the link that says “Earn 2 Free Farm Cash” with the Rice Crispies Logo next to it. When you see it, click it. You will be asked to watch a short video and vote on which RC character resembles your dad the most.

The first season of the television series “Pretty Little Liars” is now available on DVD and they are promoting this by giving you two free farm cash for answering a few simple questions. You can find this farm cash link under your farm in the section called “Sponsored Links.”

When you go onto your farm in FarmVille, check underneath your neighbors bar where it says “Sponsored Links.” You might just find one that says Earn 2 Free Farm Cash with a “100 Cars” logo next to it. This is a link from Toyota that will allow you to earn 2 farm cash for free by filling our a short survey where you pick your favorite non-profit charity.

We know the this is a USA only crop, we know a lot of info about the crops, and we even know what they look like. But what we haven’t seen yet is the mastery signs. Here they are:

The brand of Fruit Bars that you will be able to plant and master will be based on the brand that you can find in your local grocery store. Players east of the Rocky Mountains in the Midwestern and East Coast states will have access to Edy’s. Those in the Western states and Texas will have access to Dreyer’s.
Are you upset that these crops are limited to the USA only? Do you think it is unfair or do you think it is ok that companies promote themselves in some countries and not others? If you are from the USA, will you be planting these Fruit Bars?

More updated information about growing the Fruit Bar crop!
Unreleased Fruit Bars Loading Screen
Starting on June 13th, farmers will be able to grow Edy’s/Dreyer’s Fruit Bars on their farms and earn a mastery sign as well. June 19th will be the last day any of the Fruit Bar crops can be planted.
We know a few things about the Fruit Bars crop already…
1. They can be bought for 20 coins
2. They sell for 125 coins
3. They yield 2 XP
4. They can be harvested in 12 hours
5. They can be mastered
Well, now we have some more information about them! This is what we have recently discovered…
This crop can only be planted by residents of the United States. This promotion is limited to the United States because these fruit bars are mostly sold only in the USA.
Based on your location in the USA, your crop will be called one of two names: “Edy’s Fruit Bars” or “Dreyer’s Fruit Bars.”
The crop names will be based on the brand that you have in your local supermarket. So, for example, if you live on the East Coast and your supermarket carries Edy’s, your crop in FarmVille will be called Edy’s Fruit Bars. If you live in California, your crop will be called Dreyer’s Fruit Bars.
Mastery signs will also feature the brand subject to your location.
You will need to plant and harvest 1,000 total plots to earn your final mastery star and mastery sign.

The Edy’s Fruit Bar crop will be made available for planting very soon. On June 13th, farmers will be able to plant fruit bars on their farms for 6 days. June 19th will be the last day that fruit bars can be planted.
So far, this is what we know about the Fruit Bar crop:
1. They are a 12 hour crop
2. You can buy the crop for 20 Coins
3. The crop harvests for 125 Coins
4. They are worth 2 XP
5. You’ll have 6 days to plant Fruit Bars starting on June 13th
6. Fruit Bars can be mastered and will yield a mastery sign
7. This crop might be for USA players only (judging from Zynga’s wording)

FarmVille Purple Pegasus
Zynga is keeping up with their love fest of Pegasi. This time they will be introducing a Purple Pegasus, most likely for the Lady Gaga Promotion. Pegasi (the plural of “pegasus”) are not horses and cannot be placed in the stable. They cannot be bred and do not produce foals. There have been two other pegasi released in the game – the original black “Pegasus” and the “Chrome Pegasus” from the Lady Gaga promotion.

It is still unknown which part of the game this animal will be released in, whether it is the market, a mystery game, or another part of FarmVille. The Purple Pegasus will most likely cost farm cash, as the original Pegasus was 35 farm cash and the Chrome Pegasus was in the mystery game for 20 farm cash a dart. Release dates and prices are still undetermined.

Two “new” horses are coming soon to FarmVille. We say “new” because similar versions of these horses have both been available in the game recently. These horses are the Purple Bedazzled Horse and the Blue Mane White Gaga Horse. These animals will be coming soon and are a part of the Lady Gaga promotion that flooded FarmVille a couple of weeks ago. The Purple Bedazzled Horse is a new repainted version of the Pink Bedazzled Horse and the Blue Mane Gaga Horse is a repainted version of the White Gaga Horse with purple hair that was a reward for completing Lady Gaga quests. These animals have not been released into FarmVille yet and they can still show up in various areas of the game.
