The Edy’s promotion has been going on for 5 days so far. This promotion will be giving out the largest amount of Farm Cash ever in a FarmVille promotion. Now we’ll tell you how to have the greatest chance possible of winning Farm Cash with redemption codes.

This promotion will last from June 1, 2011 until October 31, 2011. That is about 5 months. There will be a total of 5,300 winners throughout this time period. According to the Official Rules of the promotion, the winning codes are chosen as follows:

“During the Promotion Period, “winning” dates/times will be randomly pre-selected by an independent digital agency with one Prize being randomly assigned to each pre-selected date/time. The first registered participant who receives a successfully executed Play (as received and recorded by Sponsor’s computer) on or after the selected “winning time” is the potential winner of the Prize assigned to that date/time. “

If we know that there will be 5,300 winners over the 5 month period that will be chosen at random, we can assume that there will be approximately 1060 winning codes per month, which comes out to around 35 winning codes per day. There are millions upon millions of Americans that play FarmVille everyday, so you can see that the chances of having a winning code are very minimal. There are a few things you can do to increase your chances, however…

How to have the best chance of winning Farm Cash:

1. Redeem codes everyday. You can get free codes from the Edy’s or Dreyer’s Facebook Fan Pages. The more days you play, the more chance you’ll have of winning.

2. Insert the maximum amount of codes per day. 3 codes is the limit regardless of how you obtain them (free or from boxes). Think of it like this: If you insert 3 codes everyday for 5 months, you will have 450 chances of winning Farm Cash from this promotion.

3. Try mixing up the method in which you obtain your codes. Try obtaining free codes from both Edy’s and Dreyer’s fan pages as well. It is still unknown if a code from a box of Fruit Bars has more of a chance of winning than a free code, but it is worth a shot to find out, that is if you like fruit bars. 4. Space out your code redemptions throughout the day. Inserting all three at one time will give you less of a chance of winning since codes are randomly assigned to pre-selected dates and times.
